Back in April last year, we had the honour of flowering the beautiful Kilworth House, in Leicestershire for Tim & Gemma.
We love to receive feedback from our clients and we were overjoyed to hear the kind words from Tim & Gemma, we have also added a few images of how we created their dream wedding.
Tim and Gemma chose to have their reception at the beautiful Kilworth house, a country manor in rural Leicestershire. The couple said their vows in the Brides family church in neighbouring Northamptonshire. Their wedding was elegant, soft and romantic.
Spring flowers are my all time favourite to design with, so Gemma was spoilt with the most scent filled bouquets for her and her maids, in the most romantic palette of soft blue, soft pink and ivory.
The flowers included for this April wedding were Ranunculus, one of the ivory ruffled flowers at the front of the bouquet. We also added ivory Astrantia, Roses and Hypericum berries.
Delphiniums added the much loved blue as well as a linear detail that prevents bouquets looking too rounded. We chose pale pink Stocks, which smell incredible Spray Roses and Waxflower which has a citrus scent.
The groomsmen all wore a blush pink Spray Rose with Waxflower.
Tell us a little bit about your wedding day…
"We were married in April 2023 and it was such a perfect day! "
Tim & Gemma chose to decorate their guest tables in The Orangery at Kilworth with nine Flower Bowls full of seasonal, scent filled flowers. We took inspiration from the bridal bouquet and added Stocks, scented blue Hyacinth, Delphiniums, Waxflower, Astrantia, Roses and Ranunculus, all in the wedding colour palette of ivory, pale pink and blue.
We also added a Long & Low to the top table, with extra foliage running the length of the table. Styling was kept simple, with gold candleholders and ivory candlesticks from The English Wedding Company.
